I have my new car! Thu, Dec 8. 2005

That's right! Just before noon today I picked up my new wheels: A 2005 Honda Element! I don't care how ugly you think it is, it's mine and I love it.

The deets:
  • 2005 Honda Element LX
  • "Fiji Blue Pearl"
  • 160 HP engine
  • 5-speed standard transmission
  • 16" Wheels, Goodyear tyres
  • Y-Package (Cruise-control, map-lights, big stereo, arm-rests, nice rims, security system, etc...)
  • front wheel drive
  • fog-lights

I'm actually quite happy I bought the 2005 model; the '06es have matching plastic panels and not-nice colour choices that loose the character I've come to love. Stay tuned for Tangerine and Lime Green in addition to Bone White... apparently.

Now - I need a name for the thing, I'm open to suggestions. So far all I've been able think of is "allotrope" ('allotropy' defn.) Any suggestions? (Please use the comments section.)

I'll have more/better photos in the coming days, don't you worry.

... because we have 2 other "the cars", and they're cars. The E' isn't really a car, per se. Insurance documents actually list it as a "Truck". I don't really think it's a truck... or car... or SUV. (It doesn't guzzle enough gas for that moniker)

Entropy - put some glow-in-the-dark stars on it, it'll look like the night sky.

Inertia - how big is the car? I'm sure it'll still have plenty.

Hrm, 'entropy' has been used for a hostname on my network already, so it's not re-usable.

'Intertia' is a little silly because the thing isn't that heavy... nor does the name fit the theme at all.

And 'KITT'?? Wuzzat about?

What about packet - storm .
Cause with this car you can load a lots of packets and with 160HP you will move forward like a storm.
