- We had it coming:
Ottawa gets sued for cancelling the Light-Rail Project. And we deserve it too. I'm sure delaying or modifying the contract were viable alternatives.
- I've always agreed that
competing with music piracy is really the only way to beat it. Trent Reznor
would rather people not pay to download his music online in lieu of getting gouged $30 for a $0.05 piece of plastic. (Curiously he suggests P2P networks rather than supporting piracy-for-profit CD sellers) Then there's
these fools, who think actively fighting the iPod is somehow going to result in commercial success. See ya later.
- Apparently the Feds are trying to
dodge due process to get at ISPs' customer data. I'll be paying attention to this one for sure.
- It's been a bad week for power:
Toronto,
Saskatchewan, and
Toronto again - and it's only half over!
- iPhone is
coming to Europe. Not a chance
for Canada - not that I'm surprised, but I'm very disappointed that
Palm killed the Foleo - I could've certainly
hacked used one!
- Oh well, guess I'll use the money to buy an
iPoser iPod Touch instead. Delicious. Too bad the
iPhone below isn't mine. (But I sure had a bunch of you

)
